The store

How about taking a little piece of the Espiguette Lighthouse home with you?
At the foot of the lighthouse, in the heart of the largest dune massif in the French Mediterranean—classified as a Natural Site in 1994 and a Grand Site de France Camargue Gardoise in 2014—our shop extends your visit to this exceptional site. Nestled between the sea and the Camargue, it invites you to take home the magic of the dunes, the sea, and the wildlife.

A local and responsible selection

The lighthouse shop offers items made in France, and even made in Camargue: colorful games and posters celebrating our sentinel, handmade tableware decorated with the lighthouse, sand-scented candles, and objects made of wood or recycled materials.
Each product is inspired by themes emblematic of our region: the sea and water sports, fishing, the dunes, the Camargue, and local cuisine.

An eco-responsible commitment

In keeping with the site’s eco-tourism charter, our shop promotes local creations, local artists, and upcycling.

You will find

  • natural mosquito repellents,
  • wooden key rings,
  • stationery printed on recycled paper,
  • as well as decorative items made using short supply chains. Products are selected in partnership with fishermen, farmers, artisans, and nature conservation associations in order to support the local economy and limit our environmental impact.

Our favorite finds at Le Phare

Christophe, a fourth-generation brandadier from Nîmes, continues to use the traditional recipe for cod brandade. He selects high-quality cod, cooks it in a pot, then flakes and sorts it by hand. This meticulous preparation, full of patience, love, and passion, restores this Nîmes specialty to its former glory and gives it an incomparable creaminess. A must for foodies, La Nîmoise brandade is the perfect gourmet souvenir to take home with you.

  • Domaine de Figueirasse: wines from the sands between the Rhône and the sea

Located in Petite Camargue, between an old branch of the Rhône River and the Mediterranean Sea, Domaine de Figueirasse takes its name from the fig trees cultivated there in the 19th century. Its vines, planted on sandy soil, resisted phylloxera: this soil, hostile to the nematode that carries the parasite, allowed local viticulture to continue and develop. Today, the estate produces AOP Sable de Camargue wines with a fresh, salty taste that reflects its unique environment. It’s a wonderful way to extend your visit to the lighthouse through the flavors of the Camargue terroir.

Two books about identity to give as gifts

  • Le Phare – Sophie Béniz’s poetic album

This illustrated book, written by local author Sophie Béniz, appeals to children and adults alike. With its soft colors and story combining sea, light, and imagination, Le Phare has become an iconic souvenir of the Espiguette Lighthouse.
It is the perfect gift for discovering or rediscovering the world of lighthouses and sharing a moment of reading with the family.

  • Phare Andole – The game book that brings heritage to life

Another gem available in stores: Phare Andole, a fun and educational activity book. Ideal for children, it allows them to explore the maritime world in an entertaining way, while sparking their curiosity to discover the coastline and lighthouses.

  • Andy Candles: fragrances from Grasse and responsible manufacturing

To fragrance your home, discover Andy Bougies. These candles are made from vegetable wax and fragrances from Grasse that are guaranteed free of CMR substances (carcinogens, mutagens, and reprotoxins). Behind these creations is Yasmine, a young artisan from Aigues-Mortes. Each candle is poured with care and love to offer a soft light and refined scents. A decorative and ethical touch to bring back from your trip to Le Grau-du-Roi.

Formerly a swimwear and theater costume designer, then an executive at Agnès B. for ten years, Stéphanie opened her own sewing workshop, Zézé et Lili, in Le Grau-du-Roi in 2014. There, she handcrafts unique pieces, ranging from fashion to accessories, inspired by the spirit of the Camargue and the sea. Her colorful and original creations reflect local expertise and a passion for textiles. For a lasting and personalized gift, consider her exclusive pieces.

N’hésitez pas à pousser la porte de notre boutique lors de votre visite : vous y trouverez des souvenirs uniques, responsables et porteurs de sens qui prolongeront l’expérience du Phare de l’Espiguette jusque chez vous.
