Lost in the middle of the windswept sands and facing the sea, the Espiguette lighthouse has been watching over, dominating and beaconing the dune and the shoreline for 150 years. Located in the commune of Le Grau du Roi, in the heart of a remarkable and protected area, it is the symbol of the richness of the exceptional natural heritage of the Pointe de l'Espiguette and is an integral part of the dune landscape of the Gard coastline, resisting, unchanging, the onslaught of the wind, water and sand.
